Joint Venture

The Bigger Picture In Selling Your Business

« Back to Glossary Index

What Does Joint Venture Mean?

Joint venture (‘JV’) is a business enterprise in which two entities (persons or companies) collaborate by joining forces for the mutual business interest and benefit of both parties. Often it will be a new company or enterprise setup independently by the two parties so that they can work together and share the reward of success whilst minimising risks on any existing company.
